Mr B’s Ice Cream first started trading in the Easter of 2007. Set up by Kirk Barden, Char Barden, Todd Barden and families, the shop was an instant success. Originally the parlour was just going to concentrate on selling a ground breaking Vanilla flavour, but we soon realised that today’s Ice Cream loving public would require more than a simple 99 to satisfy their exotic taste buds.

After the triumphant ‘Vanilla Vote’ free tasting day, Mr B’s started concocting various delicious, wild and sometimes random flavours, each flavour using fresh local ingredients wherever possible. Local fruit can be seen blended straight into ice cream mix to produce some of the finest tasting………no…..the finest tasting Strawberry, Raspberry, Rhurarb Crumble, Gooseberry etc etc ice cream. The standard had been set and more and more delicious flavours have been invented over the last three years. We now have over 120 flavours that will slowly be added to this very site.

So in a nut shell, Mr B’s is a theatre of ice cream wizardry. Come down and sample a double scooped treat and top it off by having it in one of our Hand Made Cones (made in the shop) with Hand Made Fudge (also made in the shop) and why not try some fresh strawberry sauce (of course, hand made in the shop).
